The Institute of Hazardous Materials Management [IHMM] is pleased to announce that ANAB/ANSI National Accreditation Board has awarded accreditation to IHMM’s Certified Hazardous Materials Manager[CHMM], Certified Hazardous Materials Practitioner[CHMP], and Certified Dangerous Good Professional [CDGP] credentials.

The official letter from ANAB/ANSI is here.

ANAB accreditation programs are driven by national and international recognitions as well as industry and scheme recognitions. ANAB participates in international and regional arrangements for multilateral recognition aimed at facilitating global market opportunities by building worldwide reliability of conformity assessment activities, thus saving time and money for ANAB clients. Federal, state, and local authorities rely on ANAB accreditation to demonstrate value and assure competency for important public priorities. Many conformity assessment scheme owners rely on ANAB accreditation to foster consumer confidence. ISO/IEC 17024:2012 contains principles and requirements for a body certifying persons against specific requirements and includes the development and maintenance of a certification scheme for persons.

Winning continued ANAB/ANSI accreditation marks IHMM’s continued adherence to excellence in bringing credentials of extraordinary strength and quality to the general public, government, and our existing holders of those credentials.

In 2023 IHMM looks forward to applying for ANAB/ANSI accreditation for the Certified Safety and Health Manager[CSHM] and Certified Safety Management Practitioner[CSMP] credentials.
