Recertification Requirements The Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM) has developed the Recertification Program to ensure that CHMMs maintain the highest professional standards and enhance their continued competence. The program requires that CHMMs participate in professional development activities and submit evidence of these activities on a periodic basis. CHMMs must earn seventeen (17) certification maintenance points (CMPs) over the course of a five-year cycle. Meeting these requirements is mandatory to maintain the CHMM certification. |

Monthly Meeting Attendance
The monthly meeting attendance will be posted within one month after a meeting to assure that we have accurate and timely information. Members should make sure that they sign the attendance sheet and attend the entire meeting to get credit for attendance. Members should also check the website with 30 days after the meeting to make sure your name has been properly posted to the attendance log. If your name has not properly been posted, you must notify the Chapter Secretary in writing within 60 days after the meeting date to make the proper changes. After that time, we will not authorize any changes unless you can prove in some other fashion you were at the entire meeting. We are finding it problematic to revise attendance sheets several years after the meeting was held, when you are up for renewal of your certification. Monthly Meeting Attendance Records are available to NEOCHMM Members
