NEOCHMM Speaker

NEOCHMM is looking for speakers for its monthly meetings. The overall content of your presentation can be technical, regulatory or general interest on subjects dealing with the environment, transportation of hazardous materials, emergency response, new technology, health, safety, security, hazardous waste, pollution, remediation, general management or the motivation of people.

The monthly meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of every month except August and December. (November’s meeting is either the Thursday before or after Thanksgiving.) The atmosphere of our meetings is generally informal. A light dinner and networking starts about 6 p.m. A short business meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. with the speaker’s presentation beginning at 7 p.m.

Meetings are normally held at the Brecksville Library, 9089 Brecksville Road (Route 21), Brecksville, OH 44141. The location of the library is on the east side of Brecksville Road, approximately ½ mile south from the Route 21/Route 82 intersection. Access to the parking lot is via Community Drive, which intersects Brecksville Road, south of the library. {phocamaps view=link|id=1|text=Map}

Presentations can last from 20-45 minutes followed by questions from the membership. The membership consists of individuals from various professions including Engineering/Construction, Private/Corporate consulting, Industry, Government, Education and Commercial Laboratories. Most have related degrees in technologies and the sciences.
